The aroma
Tripel Karmeliet has an aroma of Belgian yeast and a somewhat fruity flavour as well. Sweet is the aroma; honey-like is it.

The taste
Tripel Karmeliet has the distinct flavour of yeast, honey, citrus, apples and spicy notes.
The mouthfeel is pleasant and smooth. The beer sticks to my teeth and lips. It is almost like drinking a Weissbier, although the abv is a lot higher than a regular Weissbier. But the abv is well hidden, and only pops up in the aftertaste.

The conclusion
Tripel Karmeliet is a great beer – and therefore, I will give it:
